I did it, I actually did it! You won’t believe this find! I recently uncovered a once in a lifetime Gold Nugget in the Australian bush.
This was not on private property or from a mine site just sitting a few feet under the dirt in a nondescript area.
Yes, there’s still plenty of gold left in Australia.
The Australian Outback has the very harsh climate, lots of bugs, and the worlds most deadly snakes. But, even with these challenges, gold prospectors with high-tech gold detectors, are finding lots of gold nuggets. (more…)
This is in Pinyalling which is NW of Paynes Find in WA. Found a patch that we got 1.5 ounces off and it was lucky if it was 8m long x 5m wide. We found some stray bits upstream and downstream of the patch but little else other than what was in this little spot. The first 9 grams came in the first 2 hours after we arrived.
