Exploring for gold is a life changing event and doing the job right for a successful gold mine and the environment isn’t easy but will pay in gold and one great experience to remember as well.

Gold shows like this don’t give gold mining a proper view into the lifestyle of a gold miner. It’s not just about getting rich or throwing money at it. It has more to do with a proper study of a area and taking the time to make sure a mine will work before opening it up at all. Around 95% of mines fail due to gold fever and get rich thinking. The most successful gold miners are the one who take the proper steps and don’t let the greed do the talking and are more into the lifestyle of being a gold miner.

Gold prospecting equipment shows like this are a great way to see some pretty cool traditional as well as new gold prospecting equipment. But, the real benefit of going to a show like this is that you not only see the equipment but in a lot of demonstration areas you can actually see the equipment working.

The equipment demonstrations are really what I go to the shows for. It’s a great way to see the proper techniques used, and as well, as offering an opportunity to ask questions and determine if the equipment is right for your particular needs.

The other great benefit from going to a show like this is the fact that you meet many other local gold prospectors and many times get ideas about searching certain well-known old-timer prospecting locations.
